The Steans Family Foundation believes postsecondary education completion provides choices that change the life trajectory of young people in North Lawndale. Therefore, we support programs that prepare all students for college or other postsecondary opportunities.
This video highlights just a couple of amazing organizations working to empower young people in navigating their postsecondary options and life goals. Given the academic preparation, moral support, logistical assistance and other assets students provided by North Lawndale College Prep, Umoja Student Development Corporation and YMEN, students are more prepped to take full advantage of the opportunities and experiences college has to offer.
