      Hey Family,
So I just finished my final project for a film class I am
taking. The class is called African and American Studies 158:
Making Media Across Cultures. Basically, we have been studying
how to use social media and viral videos to promote development
and public service initiatives both domestically and
      internationally.
For my final project, I have been woking with Darryl Finkton,
who recently became a Rhodes Scholar (click here
      <http://news.harvard.edu/gazette/story/2009/11/rhodes-scholars-named/>
for article), on enhancing his website for the African
Development Initiative, which is an umbrella group of
development projects in Africa that he oversees.
Anyway, below is a link to the flagship video for the website
that we made. It took us about 6 hours of filming and 15 hours
of editing just to get the 4-minute video down pat. We get
graded on how many views we get and how well we can spread it
around using a variety of social media, so please take a look
and send it around to /everyone/ you know! Also, please let me
      know what you think!

I will be home in about ten days. Love you!
