$25 - Yours for the Taking!

We (Still) Need Your Help Earlier this month, we asked you to help Kiva reach more people by inviting your friends to join. In the weeks that followed, you have invited nearly 125,000 people to join Kiva. Thank you for all your help... but we're not quite done! We're close to reaching $6 million in loans funded in the month of October, typically one of our slower months. We would appreciate it so much if you could, once again, ask your friends to join you on Kiva and lend, lend, lend! Get five people to lend, and you'll discover $25 in your Kiva account. It's not magic, but it's pretty close. Invite friends you haven't invited before, and nag those who haven't responded. We need your help this Halloween weekend! Invite everyone you know, and help change lives around the world. Happy Birthday, Kiva Kiva closed its fifth year out in style with a celebration in San Francisco on October 13. Members from across the Kiva community were there, including a lender who flew all the way in from Munich for the occasion! The party was a big success. Everyone seemed happy, Premal and Matt talked about our goals for the next five years ($1 Billion!), and attendees got a chance to meet other members of the Kiva community, whether staff, volunteers, fellows, lenders, or donors.
